Liberals are pro guns pro choice, open borders, freedom of speech, just the least amount of government as possible. Great example is Jesse Ventures.

Democrats are for stricter gun laws, pro choice, moderate border regulation, and for affirmative action laws etc. The PC crowd usually aligns a lot more with the democrats.

Republicans are for moderate gun laws, pro life, strict border regulation, and less affirmative action laws and huge emphasis on trickle down economics.

I shouldn't have to teach your old ass about this.

Liberal (in US vernacular) is a pretty loose definition, not a bunch of decided stances on each issue and they are decidedly left of center (not for small government and not pro gun, but possibly neutral)

I'm pretty much a libertarian on all issues except immigration. Why do we have such lax borders? Too many immigrants drive the minimum wage down, and therefore makes it harder for us American bred citizens to make ends meet. I have an idea: it's called attrition. Make the paper work a little more difficult and stop hiring illegals. They'll go back home in droves.

The Second Amendment does not give citizens the right to keep and bear arms, but only allows for the state to keep a militia (National Guard). Individuals do not need guns for protection; it is the role of local and federal government to protect the people through law enforcement agencies and the military. Additional gun control laws are necessary to stop gun violence and limit the ability of criminals to obtain guns. More guns mean more violence.

Conservative
The Second Amendment gives citizens the right to keep and bear arms. Individuals have the right to defend themselves. There are too many gun control laws – additional laws will not lower gun crime rates. What is needed is enforcement of current laws. Gun control laws do not prevent criminals from obtaining guns. More guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens mean less crime.

Idiots confuse Liberals with Democrats because they both advocate social justice. A true Liberal is for no gun laws. A conservative/Republican wants gun laws, if you actually gave the time of day to a Republican to hear their views you'd know that. They do want gun laws just not really strict gun laws. Democrats are the ones that want extremely strict gun laws a long with banning certain types of guns as well. So no, I'm not smoking crack I'm just sadly more educated in this area than you are.
