Actually, many Americans are. That's the reality of today's America. Gone is the sense of fierce independence and self-determination. The populace now lives on "the opiate of the masses", whether it is real drugs or smartphones. They people are pacified. Sheep led to the slaughter.

This is what bugs me about a lot of voters. One of the things. People concentrate almost entirely on a candidate's policies and beliefs are, as if that's the only thing they need to know. Trump may not be a bad businessman like some people say, but he is most certainly a reckless one. He just happens to be good at bouncing back from his many failures, but if he does the same kind of **** that made him file for bankruptcy, or put his name on projects that he had no involvement with whatsoever, then I don't have much faith that he's going to be in any way a responsible leader.

And Trump is useful as a candidate for showing to anyone with common sense just how ridiculous our political system has become, but the very reason he is useful as a candidate is why he shouldn't be allowed near the presidency. Because he's a ****ing joke who has given America no indication that he will be anything but a disaster.

At least we know Clinton probably won't run the country into the ground. In today's political climate I'm willing to settle for that. I'd rather not flip a coin on my country's future for the sake of mindless idealism.
