That's the only image I could find of a cert that wasn't for a group or organisation, but yeah, the one we adopted was a Great White Shark. Boom. You gonna do it, do it right, bitch. I mean, someone adopted a BASKING shark? What the living eff, right?

I've been saying exactly this for, I don't know, a bit now. I've been saying that compassion is a form of narcissism because we're projecting our own identity onto others in order to understand how they feel. But nobody likes that idea and they fight it because it's not aesthetically pleasing.

Meh, pretty much the same, really. Still, it's all about supporting the effort to conserve these misunderstood man-eaters, yeah? I mean, if I learned to swim, and I was out there on the Barrier Reef or whatever, and one of these came to eat me, I'd have the satisfaction of knowing that without me, he would possibly have died and .... hold on.

I think this is the truth. A couple times a year, I start feeling really bummed that I live alone, but after a short stint at a dating site, that cures that affliction for several months ahead

Maybe it speaks ill of my character that I'm not very into making compromises. That's one thought that's occured to me.
