Yes, let them constantly struggle to maintain that level of infinite mediocrity to which we all subscribe.

Well, it's quite informative to scan through your opinions on Britain and its options; from the level-headed to the disinterested and the malicious :-

Spoiler for some earlier posts:

I suspect many voters today have an internal conflict going on, even as they walk into the polling station; their heads say that staying in the EU is the economically sensible thing to do, even if their hearts are saying, "Wouldn't it be great for England to be a really independent player on the world stage one more time?" But as Frownland points out, given the modern era of trade regulations, etc, that's a bit of a fantasy.

William the Bloody is MB's best political analyst and I agree with him, and most of you, that Remaining is the best choice for Britain. All those international financial institutions recommend it, and I am particularly convinced by the argument that by staying in the EU, we still have a place at the table. We will still be able to slam our spoons down and demand, "We want more pudding!"

And as stated by myself and others, you can guarantee that the Scott's will have another vote for independence on the first economic downturn if Brexit wins. I would trust Cameron over Boris and Farage on this one.
Across the decades, thanks to my judicious voting, I have steered Britain through the 70s/80s/90s, but I can't vote in this referendum so I'm passing on the batton to Goofle and Monkey Tennis. The fate of Britain is in your hands, lads, so do the best you can - and if you see a spare ballot paper kicking around on the floor, fill out an extra Remain vote for me, ok?

I've voted pal. Did it earlier.

Bookies have remain at 3/1 and leave at 8/1, not often they get it wrong.

Well done, Man like Monkey! Have you changed your name again?

I used to vote in a school adapted for the purpose, and once in my local library. I wonder where you went? Many punters? Any scuffles, demonstrations, teargas outside the booths?

^ lol. You better believe it, Batlord.
Rival frenzied crowds chanting, "Excuse me but I don't entirely agree with you!"
... reports just coming in... at one polling station tempers are running so high that voters aren't holding the door open for each other....
