Lol that's what taxes are. Everybody contributes to fund things like social security, infrastructure, government workers, etc. Budgets on the federal, state, and local level are all open to the public by law. Do a little research on them and it will tell you quite plainly where taxes are distributed. Now go write a check.

You keep saying this. Again, what about all of the people who won't be willing to write a check? The system would implode. It has to mandatory. Has to.

Think about the tea party revolt a few years back. Imagine how many of those folks, who given the chance at the time, would have simply stopped writing checks to the government. Our economy and infrastructure would have been destroyed with a matter of weeks. And we'd probably still be in the throes of a massive recession with a stock market completely tanked.

Roxy, stop saying 1935. That's incorrect. The 16th Amendment, which made the income tax the law of the land, was passed in 1913. See, this is what I'm talking about. I've already pointed out that you're wrong on this one little thing, and yet you're still spouting it. If you can't get that one little detail correct, then why should we, or you for that matter, believe that your arguments are built on logically solid ground? How do we know that all of the information that you have built your political stances on are not likewise built on lazily researched bunk?
