Doesn't matter. He's cute and likes dudes. And he complimented me on my foot. That's more than I can say about you!

I've made my quota for the day.

You're attractive enough that it wouldn't make me soft if I let you watch.

I was gonna make a joke that would leave 99% of fathers in conniptions, so I figured if I was gonna make that kinda judgement call I should probably be sober.

Something that ali (aka pansy gayboy) is well-qualified to tell us about is just how varied the interpretation of Islam is, from one time/place/group to another.

As Chula and others have pointed out, the majority of muslims are mild-mannered and hospitable. The bad news is that there is enough doctrinal intolerance in Islam to make a case for terrorist acts, and to justify what we in the West see as cruel intrusions into basic human rights - by which I'm thinking mainly about the treatment of women in Iran and Saudi Arabia for example.

Is every Christian qualified to tell us about the varied interpretations of Christianity?

RE: Music in Islam

Fundamentalist interpretations of mostly passages from the hadiths and some of the quran suggest that music is haram because it is something that distracts the mind from god. Some consider stringed instruments to be haram and do a capella chants instead since those can focus the mind on god. From what I've seen, the most mainstream view among Muslims is that music is haram when it's paired with provocative dancing and **** like that, but most other times it's halal.
