i asked my parents why they chose to get my snipped and my mom said just because my father was and because one of my cousins had to get it done when he was late in his 20s.

i can understand it and don't hold it against them, but essentially they were scared into it having it done over the fact that he was probably just a dirty ****er.

Yeah, I don't agree with the claims that it should be done because hygiene is harder with it on. I always thought that was a bogus reason but I do like the side benefit that you have a decreased percentage of getting STI/STDs without it.

Yeah yeah of course just always make sure you have a condom but for the times that you don't and are caught up in the heat of the moment.

It's maintained because women think it's more attractive and because religious people are insane about some things.

Neither are good reasons mutilate your child.

As far as HIV goes I think it's less of a risk cos there's less of a vulnerable area to tear and become exposed to the virus but if you're the insertive partner the risk is very low anyway for one time encounters even if the exposure is with a presumed pozzed up partner it's ****ing low, dunno about other diseases but it's still not a good enough reason imho.

Infections in the foreskin area is how it relates to the other diseases. Pretty much a nice place for it to hide.
