We're not here for points

Sorry Lisna, I just come here to read about Trump things I may not have heard from other sources. There's generally not much to discuss since it's unfolding before our eyes, and I don't have any interest in trying to speculate about this shitshow of a president. Also, to poke elph.

^ Well at least you're clear about your own motives, which is never a bad thing!

Father Time is undefeated.

No matter how you plan to exercise, mediate, eat right, you're still going to get sick and die. Life is the process of dying.

I doubt that I ever said he didn't need medicine. I simply listed the actual preventative practices associated with his meds, since he presented it as if the meds were a preventative treatment. I'm not sure if that equates to nonchalantly writing off his problems as you seem to be reading it but if that's the interpretation you're sticking to then feel free, oh wise one.

It's unhealthy eating, no exorcise, drug addiction and suicide that seems to be all tied to our mortality rate. None of this is a result of healthcare. Except for maybe drug addiction because they do give people in a lot of pain opium and ****. Even then, at what point are people taking responsibility for taking more than what's prescribed? A lot of these issues are more heavily social, economic and education issues than healthcare issues.

A mental check up at the right time can save a life

Being able to afford regulated pain killers can stop the transition to the cheaper street opium

A dietary plan or supplements can help with deficiencies etc.

Screenings can catch oncoming problems before they get serious

Healthcare makes people healthier that's its role in other countries

Here we seem to think it's for when you're already about to die in the emergency room and that's my whole point

I don't like heroin use being described as an epidemic. That's bad PR for my business.

Dems are on the house floor this morning calling for an impeachment vote which is most likely to fail. Well a vote to start the proceedings which can still take months.

This is part of the reason why most younger adults feel like they don't need health insurance.

Re: Eating well and diet.

I'm 5'-9" and only weigh 150 pounds. I don't eat junk. Years back I cut way down on sugar, caffiene, salt, fats, etc. My BP and CL issues are mostly hereditary as stated earlier.

I have hereditary high blood pressure too. Watching what you eat can help the issue quite a bit although it might not erase it. Especially watch out for foods with a lot of sodium.
