Tillerson is actually a rather interesting move for Secretary Of State. The guy literally crawled to the top of Exxon Mobil from pretty much nothing after all, which isn't something I can say for most of the entitlement-culture politicians we tend to get in these cabinet positions. He's nothing if not tenacious, and I can respect that.

His "ties" to Russia could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what we do with it. Rex is the one holding the cards in their relationship (I'm assuming some of you are familiar with how he helped OAO Rosneft)...which is something we could be using as leverage if we want their cooperation in dealing with Saudi Arabia, ISIS, etc.

I don't take a moral stance on anything in regards to politics: as far as I'm concerned, we've never had a leader who hasn't fucked up in some fundamental way, including Bill Clinton and Obama. I'll be watching the next four years with great interest.

I really don't think Tillerson will be able to pass Senate Confirmation. I'm hearing that Rick Perry is being considered for Department of Energy. The same department that he has said in primary debates that he thinks should not exist. He's probably going to dismantle it from the inside out.

Come to think of it, a large majority of the seats being appointed are by people that are contradictory to the department they will be in charge of. They are pretty much going to be dismantling every single department from the inside out and doing the opposite of what the departments were creating for.

Also we don't need Tillerson's ties with Russia, We have Trump's ties with Russia already.


I have a question for the Trump fan boys/supporters that keep saying that he was talking more about policy than Hillary.

What's his foreign policy stance?
