TBH, I really don't understand what that means or the affect it will have.

As a 30 year old college student, I don't know anything about investments. The only thing I know is don't use credit cards and put as much in the bank as I can every month after I pay my bills.

I'd support the rollback if it would make it easier for startups and smaller companies to get reasonable loans from a local bank instead of having to seek private investment every time there's no physical collateral involved. It's so difficult for anyone to get off the ground these days in a lot of industries even with great credit unless you already have big-time established cashflow or have been in business for more than 5-10 years.

I hear use credit cards basically as charge cards so you can get good credit without accruing debt, but that's secondhand advice.

I just paid off my credit card, after racking up the bill from when I was living on my own.. I have one and it got me great credit(790ish), but I'm never spending beyond my means again unless it's an emergency.

Pretty much what you gotta do I guess. I'm basically terrified of credit cards and would be too scared to ever use one unless I could pay it off in one or two paycheck cycles.

You understand what led to the crash in 2007. You made that clear. There are those in the financial sector that need to be kept on leashes. Agreed? What Trump is about to do is to remove all of those leashes. I'm not focused on what it means to small businesses. I'm scared ****less about what it means to the entire US economy on a whole. I own a home and have a 401K that will be directly affected. As do millions of others in the US.

You always seem to speak from your own little bubble. Maybe look at the big picture for once.

I look at the big picture all the time: I'd just like to think others are smart enough to know that before they bother putting words in my mouth.

They're DISCUSSING Dodd-Frank because it needs tweaks. It isn't perfect and has also created additional entities that don't have anything to do with protecting the public's financial interest. It's possible the whole thing will get thrown out, but it looks like they're simply going to modify it in some way that better serves small businesses. Getting all up in arms when there's more to the story doesn't help anyone.

I didn't think Trump was going to actually go through with reversing TPP but he did it. Good on Trump with that one. Have to tip my hat where it's do.

Also, was the women's march because he stopped funding international abortion clinics or is it unrelated? Because I really don't think liberals get the law. It's a good thing in my book. Well, if I understand it correctly. It means that we are no longer spending money to abort babies in other countries, right?

Edit: Other than those two things he's destroying America or what ever.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.
