I assumed his confidence in the multiverse theory was a product of being visited by an interdimensional traveler.

Am I the only one who rolls my eyes whenever the multiverse is referred to as a "theory"? Theories, by definition, must have experimental support. Even calling it a hypothesis is generous. It's about as experimentally verifiable as God.

I couldn't give any examples any more. I've dumped my mind of that garbage. But I fondly remember rolling my eyes and sighing at a lot of things he said over the course of my physics education.
