i have a lot of family in the quad cities and they are right in he middle of the midwest. today is there really really cold day. the stay inside day.


its in the 20's here, cold enough for two coats when i walked to the store today to buy a green tea and a cliff bar

****ed. Massively ****ed. If it's cold as **** down here in Florida, I don't even wanna know what it's like up there lately in the New England area. I work, basically outside, so yeah, this ****'s not cool. Everybody stay safe and warm! Bundle up and fire up the space heaters if you've got them, light a fire, turn the stove on and put a small crack in the door, do whatever you've gotta do to stay safe and warm.

Heard some thunder today that was so loud it sounded and felt like the building was collapsing. Got stranded at work for an extra 2 hours waiting for the flooding to subside too.

My apartment has been constantly creaking and cracking from the cold. Schools were out yesterday, and they started 2 hours late today.

No I mean 54 degrees fahrenheit aka 129.2 degrees celsius. It's horrific.
