Edit: (or the above, and I would say Libertarian of course because the Green's are worse than Democrats)

@ Chula - Since I generally agree with the Republican platform more I'd say wait to see who they have. Assuming it's Trump I fully understand why you wouldn't want him because he's orange and has weird hair. But the alternative is Democrat policies. *shudders*

Ayn Rand was a bit of a babe considering she wasn't a babe.

So you don't actually want an alternative.

If people didn't just automatically herp and derp about independents not having a chance when both parties are at historically low approval levels, maybe independent people who have more than one party's interests in mind would have a better chance.

Bow down to the war machine Chula. You made it by not confronting your reality. You should just start voting Republican tbh. Go full swing establishment homie.

Ya, cause Dems just can't hang with relaxing EPA and OSHA regulations to increase corporate profits. Or admitting that climate change is a hoax. Or structuring taxes to benefit the rich based on the completely antiquated early 80s concept of "trickle down economics". Or shaming women with vaginal probes, shutting down abortion clinics, defunding Planned Parenthood simply based on the small percentage of their revenue that goes towards Pro-choice, dictating what people can or can't do in the privacy of their own bedrooms, taking LGBT rights back 25 years, massive redistricting and arcane voting rules to insure minorities have minimal influence on elections, a hawkish "you're either with us or against us" world stage stance, forcing God and the Bible on everyone while ignoring the "separation of church and state" mandates of our forefathers, ignoring the fact that their parents and/or grandparents were immigrants while pushing a white superiority platform behind close doors, pushing for privatization of SS, prisons, and anything else that can generate profits for fat cats with zero regard to the masses, and I could go on and on.

So Goof, humor me. How about a list of your top 10 fave GOP policies and your top 10 worst Dem policies?

Can you articulate it so that I can try and make sense of your ideological stance?

Maybe not initially, but the real big hitters like HRC know how to negotiate to the point of ending up with conservative policy. That's what makes Democrats so great.

You ignore everything that doesn't fit your ridiculous narrative. I'm all for change. But I also accept the reality of USA politics.

Like I said, toss away your vote all you want. It's a sucker's play but if it works for you, go for it.
