I’m reading it.

From the start it’s annoying that Harris treats Chomsky like a peer.

I get that it would be hypocritical for Chomsky to care about intellectual hierarchy but ffs it’s not just politics he revolutionized linguistics.

Sometimes you shouldn’t debate. You should STFU and learn.

I know it’s 101 but I really like the philosophize this podcast

I didn’t realize how many times the science can replace philosophy thing has cycled around and been given up on and resurrected again until I listened to his podcast (I’ve listened to all of them - I’m starting over - I’ve been listening to it on headphones at work)

I wish I could remember the names of who thought of what but my memory is too weak

I just finished reading that and I felt incredibly embarrassed for Harris. And the way he pretends he’s taking the high ground and offered Chomsky the chance to have a productive discourse - just holy ****ing Christ - lol

I had no idea Harris was such an apologist for American atrocities.

Harris comes off as completely repulsive there.
