Let me try.
Chula, on Facebook you have either friends, or people you don't know/who don't know you, none of whom are very likely to use your information for nefarious purposes. Here, everyone knows you, and is aware of your behaviour (which, at times, borders on unacceptable, with the caveat that yes, you are often pushed in that direction by people who shall remain nameless but are called Frownland) and if someone (not naming names) wished to do you any sort of harm they could, for instance, take a copy of, say, your picture of your daughter, alter it and anoymously post it somewhere you didn't want it to be. That's probably a little extreme, but what people here are saying is, keep your **** private then nobody can use it against you. I talk about Karen, but never post any pictures of her and nobody knows my actual address or any real information about me, at least that I've advanced willingly. You have to protect yourself by using common sense and good judgement, and to us here, you're kind of not doing that.
