That's all I meant. I'm just saying since CBD doesn't get you the teeniest bit high, I wouldn't call it a "substitute" or anything.

Sounds like a bit of a low self esteem issue, but most everyone would deal with that situation the same way given the same scenario. Maybe focus on your accomplishments, whether big or small, and try not to gauge your worth based on someone else's. It's all a matter of your own perception, and not everything you think is true.

I also did the math wrong, It'd be 10mg 3 times a day, but yeah a xanax or ativan pill would most likely help better and actually make a difference. I dont think I would even feel any effect from just 10mg

I've done this before. Hard to say how closely our experiences line up, but usually once I get the ball rolling and talk to/hang out with the person that I was avoiding I forget about those worries because I'm enjoying myself. Also if this person is reaching out to you, it sounds like they care about you and would be more concerned about you being down than you bringing their mood down if you did bring it up. They'll be happy to reconnect and might not want to push the subject unless you bring it up first as well, since it sounds like you don't want to bring it to the forefront, but that could change depending on the person and your relationship with them. Hope these mumblings help.

I just sad sack the **** out of people if that’s the true story. I try to make sure that I spend my fair share of time listening too. If your friend ain’t a friend when you’re down then they ain’t a friend but you gotta be a friend too. The truth is, life is hard. People who only project upbeat **** annoy me just as much as a whoa is me type.

And man, anyone who cares enough to even try to contact you, that’s a kindness, don’t take that for granted.
