If we're blaming Biden for visiting with Homes, wait until you see the D.C. A-listers that served on her board.

I'm sure this really hurt Kissinger's reputation.

Listen, the Bombing of Cambodia was a matter of perspective.

Well, let's not get deflected by Psy-Fi's mis-placed non story. Big picture: In yesterday's speech, Biden defended your right to vote and spelled out the truth about the 2020 election results:-

^ No need to watch all 9 mins of what is almost certainly biased reporting, but the clip is there if anyone wants to focus on the actual issues surrounding Biden and yesterday's speech.

Is he still calling for unity with the people who think he stole the election like a dumb bitch?

I have hope on this one. He still needs to pony up on the Student Debt promise but since voting rights is in the politicians interest, I'm hopeful.

^ Yep, it's been a long time coming, but for this speech he was plainly criticizing people who are undermining American democracy. If the cap fits, GOP, then I guess you should be wearing it.
The GOP, incidentally were a total no-show: nothing significant from Trump to defend his lies, after he cancelled his press conference, and also only Liz Cheney and her dad turning up to honour the capital police. My verdict on the GOP's performance yesterday: a rout. For almost the first time since Jan 6 2021, they didn't dare come up with a line of "alternative facts" and other BS.

Videos from 2005 and 2019 show Joe Biden saying getting rid of Senate filibuster is 'arrogance of power' after he tells Georgia crowd on Tuesday it's time get rid of it to push through voting reform

^ Another Biden-Bashing non-story from the same Daily Mail newspaper who singled out Biden's name from hundreds of people who believed, before her prosecution, that Elizabeth Holmes was honest.

This time the story fails to point out that there are regular carve-outs to the filibuster for certain issues - most recently, as agreed by both Dems+GOP to prevent the US government defaulting on its debts, I believe. The article doesn't explain that since 2005 the GOP has completely morphed into an authoritarian party that votes in lockstep and thus has weaponised the filibuster in a way that was not imagined in 2005.

Just as the previous Daily Mail non-story could have had a headline, "Fraud scam scams people", this new non-story should have the headline, "Politician adjusts position due to changing circumstances".

Up-coming headlines from the Daily Mail:
"Despite claiming we must fight global warming, Joe Biden has been exhaling greenhouse gasses for years."
"Video from 1930 that shows Joe Biden used to believe in Santa Claus, despite telling voters yesterday that Santa Claus doesn't exist."

Is this really the intention of this thread? To post links to anyone and anything that criticises Biden, regardless of how petty it may be?
Once again, I'd like to suggest we remember the big story going on in the US right now: democracy is being dismantled by the GOP; Biden and his party are working to protect it.
