Ok why did no one tell me Deadmau5 released a new album? Apparently it wasn't that good?

Really love Deadmau5. My favorites of his are, "Strobe.", "I Remember." and "Some Chords.".

Good stuff.

It was pretty mediocre that's most likely why no one mentioned it.

The Vedlt, Fn Pig, Closer and Telemiscommunication where the only tracks that I enjoyed on it and once I got those tracks out of my system after repeatedly listening to them I moved on.

Imogean Heap is on Telemiscommunication. I could relate to that track because I've been in a relationship like that where you are so busy and barely get to talk/text with significant other.

I actually think Raise Your Weapon's probably the weakest of his big tracks. Madeon's remix of it is damn good though:

Default New Deadmau5 tracks

Deadmau5 released two new tracks on his soundcloud a few days. Hopefully this means a new album's coming out sometime soon.

I really like Suckfest9001.
This is where I tried to post a link but couldn't because I haven't made 15 posts on this forum yet.
It feels like something off of For Lack of a Better Name. What do you guys think?

I was just about to come on here and mention his new tracks then I saw that post. Ah well, here's the two he only just put up:

Suite 02

Suite 04b

Honestly I'm not really impressed. I wouldn't call myself a devoted deadmau5 fan in the first place but these aren't really anything groundbreaking or noteworthy. That would be fine if it was his usual brand but for something ambient like this it doesn't really want me to go in for another listen.

Anyone that wants to listen to those two songs will need to replace the asterisks with the word fuck because of the censor it screws with the link and you won't be able to hear it unless you replace it.

deadmau5 is fantastic. My favourite album is definitely "For Lack Of A Better Name". The songs are just tiptop on that one. "Random Album Title" not far behind and "4x4=12" is also gr8... that being said I think his new album "<album title here>" was absolute trash. There were like 5 songs I liked which 3 of them had already been released. The rest was just... really bad. But otherwise he is one of my favourite (maybe my favourite EDM) artists.
