Aphex Twin, Autechre, Boards of Canada, and Milieu would be four artists to definitely check out.

The last two aren't explicitly IDM but they're in the same region of the musical spectrum.

There's a thread dedicated to Clark also on the first page. He's a classic idm artist. Also, check out a youtube search for Zephyr Nova. He used to make some excellent idm back a few years ago, and there's a handful of his stuff on the youtubeys. Here's a christmas-themed one:

Default Funky?

I want funk! But new one in the spirit of house or electro, im looking but its really hard to find some good tracks. What i'm looking for is futuristic funky dance music. I have some songs that have wonderful intros! But they get to much later on, too much dubstep or electro..

Intros of these songs:

Savant - Starfish (Original Mix)- 8-bit funky (love everything before 1:10)

KOAN Sound - Meanwhile, In The Future - Funk (love everything but a little too much dubstep after 1:15)

This is wonderful:

Silicone Soul - Feeling Blue ( Go Go Bizkitt! Remix) - Quite Funky

Tahnkful for all resposes, peace

thats cool! really funky. Although i'm sortof looking for something more house'y...

a bit like:
Calvin Harris - Acceptable in the 80s
Gorillaz - 19-2000 (Soulchild Remix)

Possibly Daft punk - Short Circuit (Wuki Remix)
