Default I Need More Like This:

So up to this point I haven't been too interested in electronic music. There were a few that I like, as I have quite a broad taste in music that covers many categories. Mainly if it is loud, powerful, and well written/composed, generally speaking I'll like it.

So I came across these two remixed for a song called "Worldless," originally done by I Will Never Be The Same. The remixes were part of the FiXT remix context.

1. The one I like the most, remixed by Andrew Maze

2. The second one I also really like, remixed by Echo Deep

3. In general I really liked the mix of EDM and rock the original song used, too.

(I would have posted links but this is my first post)

And I was wondering what branch of EDM these two songs match closely too, because I'd really like to find more music like it. What would you suggest?

I'm looking for something similar to Xanopticon.
By that I mean something much more irregular and broken up than breakcore/idm usually is. Any tips?

I would check out anything from the psychill scene since it is so melodic. Look in to bands like Phutureprimitive, Bluetech, Ephemeral Mists, Desert Dwellers, Ott, Shpongle, etc.
