sure, why not. 1982 was one of those times, you know?
actually, it was done in one evening for a biofeedback company in Sedona
because the guys had very little money for studio time and they mapped the
thing out beforehand. good results tho - with its reduction of sound over the
length of the album. easy to nod off before the end of the thing. and it also flies
in the face of "new age" music by emphasizing minor keys later on. zzzzzzzz....

I believe this record is getting/has just gotten a re-release by Craft Recordings this month:

That's good to hear, I love that album. It's an underrated gem of 80's electronic music. And is it just me, or does the singer kind of sound like Chuck Mosley at times?

Anyone listen to deep house/techno? I’m pretty much over all the other crap I barely listen to electronica now, never thought those words would leave my mouth.

"Distilling sounds from the now 70 years old archive of the DARMSTADT SUMMER COURSES FOR NEW MUSIC, the Berlin based electronic artist HANNO LEICHTMANN presents a stunning new album which is remix, collage and homage at the same time."

Actually, quite well-done - so far. Crappiest modern cover I've seen in quite a while.

I usually don't throw away whole genres because there's always something worthwhile there,
but house got old really fast for me when I had to DJ that over 30 years ago -
with techno having the same effect - so I really needed a break from both of them.

Yes definitely! I can’t remember the last time I went to see a DJ because I’ve mostly been listening to bands. I still listen to some every now and again to see what’s new. Tbh I probably only listen to dj’s when I’m boozing.

Guess it depends on what specifically you're talking about, but yea I listen to quite a bit that would probably fall into those broad categories. I tend to gravitate towards slow-paced and subtle forms but can be mood dependent
