Smile New Wave Of Electronic Music From Dublin, Ireland

So I recently found a number of artists from my hometown of Dublin, Ireland who seem to be setting the pace for electronic music production.

First up - LOGUOS. Weird name, right? LOGUOS is an electronic producer from Dublin who seems to be upping his game over the last few months. I recently found his new single which I'm totally digging - it's called Psychotic featuring a singer called 'Zara' who sounds brilliant on the track. The song has got real 90s house vibes to it. It features a heavy pulsating bass line during the chorus alongside a relentless 909 drum machine which really gives the song movement. It sounds like LOGUOS is aiming more towards a live electronic feel for his gigs, maybe drawing on Disclosure's live show for inspiration. I recently caught him in action and I must say he really impressed me, which is why he's moving to the top of my list here.

Next up: Rebuke. Haven't heard of him? Well you have now. With his most iconic single being 'Along Came Polly', it's 'The Pipe' that has really impressed me. He's taken the genre of Tech House and has completely put his own spin on it. His productions have struck me most for their minimalistic productions with really catchy rhythms and synth lines. His latest single 'Take That Back' is an absolute dance floor filler.

Finally for today, I want to give a quick mention to 1000 Beasts. This dude is a new pop/electronic producer from Dublin, with his latest offering being his song 'Want'. He includes extremely catchy vocal lines and hooks in his production, alongside polished synth lines and washy synth chords. Overall, this song has got an amazing new electronic feel to it, making you want to sing and dance all at the same time. Oh, and it'll definitely be stuck in your head for days to come once you listen to it.

That's all from me today, would love to hear your thoughts on these new artists emerging on the Dublin scene. Make sure you give these guys a listen on Spotify - LOGUOS, Rebuke, 1000 Beasts.
