I think it is. I went straight to the ending to see if was the same movie. I guess I just remembered the ending differently.

Anyway, are there any other Japanese movies that you all like? Personally, I've never been able to turn down a flick with the crazy/awesome Toshiro Mifune in it:

Honestly, I'm not really all that big on gore (for example, I wasn't a huge fan of The Reanimator), but it's so ridiculous and cheesy in Riki-Oh that you can't help but laugh. My favorite part is when the guy reaches into his own stomach and pulls out his intestines, then tries to strangle the good guy with them, and the bad guy on the sidelines yells "Yeah, you've got a lot of guts!"

Well hell, I watched it with the sound down (I'm at work), now I gotta watch it at lunch time.
