My country is pretty beast now. Over 800 million people, a "frightening" economy (that's the best you can get), and an average income of 126,335 speciedalers (specialdalers are an old Norwegian form of currency). But my income tax is over 50%, and I don't know why.

I'm also thinking of reverting from a heavily-industrialized nation to a quasi-medieval, pre-industrial society as soon as I make contact with aliens (apparently that's a thing). It's what Hitler would have wanted. "Blood and soil", ya know?
