The "hanging chad" comment was a purely political one that had nothing to do with race. You brought the race factor in by replying, "Hanging? You know I'm black right?" I thought your comment was said in jest (like you were pretending to take offense over an obviously political joke) so I made a reference to another election joke made by the funniest African-American comedian who ever lived (no offense to the Eddie Murphey fans out there; but Dave is funnier!)

Both quips were election jokes and were intended as such. If anything, the second joke was intended as more of a gender quip. I'm a biracial female myself (but its Cherokee and Swiss) so I didn't think you would take it that way so I do apologize for not wording it differently.

Edit: it's only fair that I reword it for you instead of just just saying I should. "You might be half black, but you're fully female. Therefore, the gender card might be more effective campaign-wise." Any good campaign advisor would have told you the same thing. After all, we've already had a biracial president; but a female president?? That's a powerful campaigning edge.

Some points of interest:

You'll need access to the server and the vBulletin code to make any changes to the swear filter. That ain't happening.
