I guess you wouldn't understand if you're the type of person who thinks that Guiness isn't a garbage beer.

Wow. So any love here for bar hopping, dancing, loud music and strangers?

I do. I never liked it. But then I was never a real drinker. But it's not like that over here: we don't have (so far as I know) specialty bars. One is pretty much the same as another.

Real drinkers don't waste time and energy moving from spot to spot. That's for people who like walking around changing the scenery.

There's a whole world of beer variety that you might not even be aware of.

When I barhop I tend to find a place with a few different breweries within walking distance of one another. If youre paying extra for drinks, might as well get something you can't find in the store.

I don't see why it can't be both combined with trips to the DD's car for shots in between bars.

Also, that's a good point, because surely the more times you move the drunker you are, and therefore the harder to get to the next bar? Why bother?

Well, you obviously survived getting stuck on a roof. That's never happened to me, but I have been found out on several occassions. Luckily, security guys are usually more puzzled than angry; probably relieved that they don't have a burglar or jumper on their hands.
Oh no, that's such a shame they aren't more enthusiastic :c I mean, there are only so many things to do if one's stuck in a building for x amount of time, or if you're wandering around downtown and there's nothing very interesting going on; it only makes sense to poke around rooftops. (or empty ballrooms in hotels with pianos) And yeah, most security guards seem pretty unbothered by it, thankfully. There are a lot of jumpers, though, according to a couple janitors I've chatted with. One said that for a while he'd see roughly one jumper per month-- usually businessmen. (he worked in one of those skyscraper hotels downtown, so he had a good view of all the rest)
