yes, Simple Plan are from where I live. It doesn't mean that I love them but my friend knows some of the members and she said they're pretty cool to be around with. There's also Celine Dion, but hell.. who cares about her anymore? :P there's other bands, but I cant think of them or you just don't know them

bone thugs and harmony, straight from cleveland im quite proud to say...all you have to do is listen to Home or East 1999 or Cleveland is the City to hear all about it...they recently did a show at a local beach for free, which i thought was pretty cool

RiseAgainst, You come from DC and dont know any bands who originated in that area? The whole DC hardcore scene started there, man! Banned in DC, the mother f-ing Bad Brains!? Holy god, sorry I get a little carried away. Me, I'm from the middle if no where, and no one even remotely famous has stepped within 1000 km of my home. But my bands are here... You shall soon see...

Not that he's much of a great rapper but Pitbull is from Miami (although Dammit Man is pretty catchy), and on the brighter side Trick Daddy and the whole Slip N' Slide crew is from Miami and I'm glad they represent.
