No, not particularly. They were still selling to the day of when one of my friends bought a ticket (for raised price though), though the promoters make it seem like they sell a lot faster than they do. Even with last years lineup people were telling me not to wait because of how big the headliners were.

I'll take my chances and wait. I also have to figure out if I can actually drive down for this as I'll be back in NJ in July. Not sure what the bookstore will say if I take another couple days off after taking nearly four months.

Yeah I was kinda wondering all this. You technically don't have a job right now, right? Or was it the pot farm thing? And then there's the living in California bit?

Bottom line is idk where you are in life at the moment to be able to do this.

I live/work on a 40 acre property in northern California which also happens to be a grow site for marijuana. I'm getting paid but not until after harvest which is in the fall. I'm still technically employed by the bookstore but as a seasonal employee. I'll start back up when I get home.

Nomadic lifestyle makes it hard to plan ahead.

5 more days and I'm catching Conor Oberst do some solo material and though I'm not too fond of his last record, I'm fucking beyond stoked for this show. So many great bands are passing through my town as of late it's a fun time.
