When I've seen their shows on YouTube and what not, I felt they had more of a psychedelic edge. And more of a "novelty" type of thing.

But here, during the 3 hour show, they played like 50 tunes, and at least 80% of them felt like the same one.
I just couldn't get into it. How many times can you play the same punk tune? It gets boring honestly.

Anyway, I enjoyed a couple of tracks they played, but I left before the show ended, because of my hearing problem (I'm 22 and I need to wear earplugs, otherwise the only thing I hear is white noise – And boy, they didn't help with that)

How did you like the gigs you saw though?

Arę you a long time fan of them?
3 hours is too ****ing long even with a more varied band imo.
They just played 1,5 h here and there was a good balance between the punk songs and the more Krautrock ones. I actually prefer the latter but enjoyed the former as well. Rocked hard af.
I'm not the world's biggest fan but they're a cool band and I've liked them for a few years now. Definitely will go to another concert if the opportunity arises.

If you're watching some pop tart, yes it's too long. If you're watching The Cure, It's not long enough.

I have two more shows on the calendar - Ghost in September, and Steel Panther in November. \m/

One of the last gigs I went to was Richard Hawley. Lovely, crisp, emotive rockabilly and a decent amount of psychedelic rock jams thrown in for good measure was a really nice balance. Very impressive.

I have tickets for Ryan Adams and plan on getting tickets for Devin Townsend.

Thanks TH! We're not doing so badly! After taking so long to get out of L1 I'd have been content with a stable mid-table season this season, so keeping ourselves in touch of the playoff picture is a pretty good return!

Seeing Sun Ra Arkestra tonight with a group of friends. Marshall Allen is 98 years old and still playing! Getting some jazz history in my face tonight. Considering his age, it could very well be his last show or at the least one of his last shows.

Super excited.

Ra!

Just wanted to report how amazing this show was. Seeing Marshall Allen play was something I'll remember for a long time. Knoel Scott did a f*cking front somesault and cartwheel in the middle of a number and the dude is in his 70's. If they play anywhere near you, please go see them.

Marshall was adorable. Seeng him sing and play and talk about going to another place in space at 98 was...emotional.
