The line-up for this just keeps getting better, with Belphegor, Extreme Noise Terror and Bossk all recently added. So pumped for this.

I'm also finally going to see Alcest, as they support Katatonia here in the UK in December.

And Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster draws ever nearer too. Thats gonna be one hell of a party.

That is one awesome lineup. Electric and Extreme Noise Terror in the same building that place is coming down.

I'll be adding GWAR on November 3rd at The Observatory to X in September.

Holy ****. That is a festival I wouldn't mind going to. Though the chances of that are...well, 0% chance of possibility.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it. It has the potential to be absolutely brutal. Thing is its split over a few different stages, so I have this awful feeling that to see Electric Wizard I'm gonna have to miss Pig Destroyer. That would be disappointing.

That's the one thing I always get a little irritated about with festivals, though the last one I went to was Mayhem and they did it kind of cool. They had bands scheduled to play on one stage, than when they were done, they had another set of bands at the second stage with no interference from any other stage, and once those were done, the main stage was open for the last 4 bands.

Didn't miss a single bands performance which made me pretty happy.

Yeah, that does sound pretty cool. I've never been to this one but I'm hoping its indoors? It's at a student union and I have been in before for a club night, if I'm thinking of the same place. These places obviously tend to be rather big. So I dont think its going to be the typical "festival" that I'm used to but clashes are, I'm sure, unavoidable still.

Even if it was My Dying Bride that clashes with Wizard, that would be fine. I've seen MDB before.

With bands like that, I would prefer them to be outdoors simply for the reason that if you have 2 or 3 bands going at a time, the sound would be unbearable. However, sometimes the acoustics of an inside show make for a better louder show. I saw Ozzy at an inside venue, and it was far better than when I saw him at an open outside venue.

Whatever the set-up is like I'm sure it'll be fine. The festival has been going for quite some time now and it seems to have a decent rep. I picture it indoors for some reason and if it is, I'm sure they have different venues for each stage and so theres no disruption.

Hell, Wizard say they are bringing a "Hawkwind-esque light show" so I'm fairly sure it's all indoors.

You'll enjoy it nonetheless. I personally love going to festivals if not just for the environment. Something about the smell of weed and caramel corn just makes for a good time.
