The world's largest musical instrument is (apparently) the pipe organ at Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, NJ. It has over 32,000 pipes. That is one big organ, as the actress said to the bishop...

Is her name 'Thegrandoldukeov'?

I peered through the window of Thom Yorke's house in Oxford once. He wasn't there. Thom Yorke signed a lettuce for one of my friends in a supermarket, as he had nothing else to write on. The lettuce only lasted a week and no photographs were taken.

When Queen would record an album, some pieces of the tape would be so thin from tracking you could see through it.

Tom Morello uses a small guage allen wrench when he plays People of the Sun. Timmy C. of RATM/Audioslave uses a different name on each album he has taken part in.

The bassline to the Sex Pistols Pretty Vacant was taken from the ABBA song SOS

Paul Mccartney cant read sheet music.

Motown producers refused to release Whats Going On, calling it one of the worst albums they have ever heard.

On LA Woman, Jim Morrison had his mic set up in the studio bathroom.

Millions of fans downloaded Kid A off Napster one week before its original release, and it still made number 1 on both the US and UK charts.

Eddie Van Halen is a classicly trained pianist.

The Beatles song Ticket To Ride can be faintly heard at the end of Dark Side Of The Moon.

Endless Nameless appeared on Nevermind as a recording error, many mistook it for a hidden track but in reality a demo tape was accidently fused with the recordings that were meant to be used, Nirvana made the song after a session for Lithium went bad.

The primary reason Jimi Hendrix hired Noel Redding for his bass player was because he liked his hair.

Televengelist Jimmy Swaggard and Jerry Lee Lewis are cousins.

Even more amazing is that Paco De Lucia couldn't read music until the early '90's.
