Haven't listened to this one for a while, so I thought I'd give it a spin...

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I listened to their 2nd album first and by comparison their 1st one sounded more bland and folky, idk how to explain it. The guitars just sounded more boring to me but it has Its Fine and this track which i loved

Maybe this album went over my head idk but the 2nd one, that one i loved the whole way through and it just flowed better to me. I particularly liked man or monkey and this one

Renaldo & The Loaf - Gurdy Hurding (2019)

Quote:
Began in the late 70's and quickly signed to Ralph Records where they released 4 LPs plus the amazing collaboration album with The Residents, "Title In Limbo". In 1987 the group went into semi-retirement until this wonderful "comeback" album was released in 2016. A wonderfully strange medieval sounding electronic album with all the bizarre insectoid vocals we know and love from their classic Ralph catalog. NOW it's the end of 2019 and Gurdy has it's own vinyl release with an entire 18 minute side of BRAND NEW EXTRA MATERIAL RECORDED ESPECIALLY FOR THIS VINYL PRESSING!!!!!

Small Business Saturday Haul!

I went to a local flea market this morning and scored the exact next 33 1/3 volume I had on my list - They Might Be Giants' Flood, as well a triple LP of The Orb's ultra-chilled edition of the Back to Mine series featuring one of my favorite electronic singles, "The Light 3000" by Schneider TM, and a stockpile of UK import Tom Waits cassettes.

I already have first pressing NM copies of all Tom Waits' LPs but these cassettes are just icing on the cake.
