Just got Black Mountain's "Wilderness Heart." Pretty darn good indie psychedelic rock.

Álfheimr - What Allows Us To Endure

Amazing musician. Although his music is somewhat dark, so I kinda wish I had it for the winter.

Blind Mr. Jones - Stereo Musicale (1992)

Pretty good album. This is a bit different shoegaze band from the early 90s. They have a flute!! And because of that they were called Jethro Tull of shoegazing. Very interesting sound. Here's a taste:

It took me a while to remember what the last album I bought was. I haven't bought anything since October. That's depressing. Anyway, it was Carl Barat's solo album. It's very different than his previous stuff with The Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things and not at all what I expected. I didn't like it when I first listened to it but it started to grow on me after a few listens. It brought to mind images of a 1920's carnival. Maybe it's just me, but I thought the album had that feel.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Because of the flute, right. That's the reason I had to check them out when I was reading about them. Didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. Very refreshing sound. I love it.
