ironically three live albums

Hildur Guðnadóttir - Leyfðu ljósinu

this is technically a live studio album....as in one take, no mixing, and no audience....this woman is amazing.....two tracks of sensual, dark atmosphere created with nothing more than a Cello and some minimal electronics....although this may not be an album that i play often.....this will be on any list i make for this year....sublime modern classical/minimalist/ambient....haunting as it is full of beauty and hope....just wow

Devo - Live In Seattle 1981

a great set and actually well recorded.....nothing special for anybody who is not already a huge fan though....so in short I love it....you may not

Woven Hand - Live at Roepaen

quite the opposite of what i said about the live Devo album.....this is amazing and would be just as good to a long time fan as it would be as an introducing album.....David Eugene really has a way of truly coming alive when playing live....which shines as much on this as it does on 'Horse' by 16 Horsepower.....top for 2012 at the momment....plus he opens the set with 'Hutterite Mile'

Last album I bought was Katzenjammer's A Kiss Before You Go on vinyl from the gig last month, which was also signed by two members. The last album I downloaded was Escort's Escort.

Bought four of my favorite hip hop albums yesterday. And yes, Killer Mike's new album is in my list of favorite hip hop albums. It's new, but I lurve it. And I have a mancrush on MF Doom, which is why all the others are projects he was involved it.

I know, I know. I haven't been on much, but may I have this? I promise we'll have a dinner party after I take a listen.

Also, I only ever got my albums from websites such as mediafire, etc. What do you all do now?

Had a bit of spare cash so thought I'd get it. esp. as it was only 4 squids on itunes. It's one of my fav. albums so it was a bit odd I didn't have a copy. I used to have it on tape but havent had a tape player for ages.

The last album I bought was really the last 3. I never buy just one, lol. =D

Lacuna Coil - Dark Adrenaline.
Blink 182 - Neighborhoods.
Sum 41 - Screaming Bloody Murder.

Neighborhoods was cool but the other 2 are more epic. Dark Adrenaline was amazing and the demo track is still my favorite, Trip The Darkness. Cristina Scabbia has an awesome voice. But I like Screaming Bloody Murder the most. Jessica Kill and Skumfuk are my favorite tracks on that album.
