La Femme - Psycho Tropical Berlin (2013)
Learned about this here a while back, put it in my to-listen list on Spotify. Heard several songs that I enjoyed and finally gave the whole thing a listen, twice yesterday. Not normally my wheelhouse as I'm picky about female vocals, but the French helped get and retain my attention.

The Proper Ornaments - Waiting for the Summer (2013)
Debut from British jangle poppers whose 2014 album I've been enjoying a lot.

Vision Fortune - Night Jukes [EP] (2012)
I listened to their latest LP a couple of times this last week and liked their Liars-influenced experimental rock. On this one I also picked up on some Oneida vibes.

The Advisory Circle - From Out Here (2014)
I heard about these guys several years ago, as being influenced by Boards of Canada, but never got beyond listening to 30-second clips of their albums. So far it's ok, certainly not as trippy or developed as BoC's sound but still interesting.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

One egotistical little fecker but damn this sounds good. Jon Spencer meets Dr Feelgood. Dirty, scuzzy blues inspired rock. Completely underproduced which is fine by me.

Bought and heard loads more but that will do for now!

I like that track. He's got it. Shame about the album cover.

I know, it makes me sad. It was my sisters gateway to GoF and now she really likes Entertainment! so I have some respect for the album at least.

Ignore the album cover (it is crap) and give it a listen. Never had so much fun listening to music for ages!

Oh yeah dude I a downloading everything he's done.

Also, Damages is a great show with a fitting theme tune, but damn, those songs are completely lacking in inspiration for a band like Gang of Four.

Bill Laswell, David Smith, and John Zorn - The Dream Membrane (2014)

Bill Laswell – bass guitar, drone, producer
David Chaim Smith – spoken word
John Zorn – alto saxophone, shofar, executive producer

Genres: Drone, Dark Ambient

And that's pretty much all the information that you'll need to want to check out this album. It's better than I expected it to be so you can imagine how fantastic this album is.

Why aren't you listening to it yet?
