I thought Vampire Weekend should be a Goth band, but their not. They are horrible bloodsucking people.

I guess I never hopped on the hype train for Vampire Weekend? Heard songs, thought they were alright, but never thought it was anything special.

Could always give them a more intensive listen at work tonight...

But that'd interrupt my Queen Kwong listening.

Vampire Weekend is supposed to be indie + African music, wiki calls it Afrobeat. idk

I don't really hear the African influence in what I have heard. Maybe in Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa?

I suppose I'll contribute to an unpopular music opinion and say Queen Kwong pulls off the gritty, edgy rebel persona better than Ke$ha does. Queen Kwong is just better overall. Different genres obviously.
