On topic, though the Iggy mix of Raw Power is the best mix and the Bowie one is neutered, the album still needs a new mix. A proper one where the riffs still slay loud and proud but it doesn't blow your speakers. It's the only incredible album off the top of my head that's attained a sort of legendary status that's been forever plagued with a bad mix. I'm sure there's others that I just can't recall at the moment.

Part of me does too - it's trashy and gross and irreverent. And in some ways it's fitting.

Still, I'd love to hear what the album sounds like with a proper mix.

If one rock album deserves to have the most blown out production to maximize its impact its Raw Power.
