We're on an internet forum, I don't think Duga meant LITERALLY either. I think he meant figuratively slammed... And how's liking The Flaming Lips an unpopular opinion? They're quite an acclaimed band, saying they're bad - that'd be an unpopular opinion.

Are the Flaming Lips actually not considered fun by anyone? How do those giant paper maché hands not just scream "We're here to party"? In sign language, I guess.

I'm fine. I don't care about what you post one way or the other. And I wasn't even directing that at you...you just reminded me of all the people rolling in here posting very popular opinions. Well, popular among us. That's why I recommend hanging around the boards a while longer.

oooh, mmk. because most of the ppl i kno bash the flaming lips. but i personally think they have a very narrow, crappy oppinion on what "good" music is. but its all good.

im glad to know that the people on this forum like the flaming lips as much as i do

Here are just a few good deathcore/metalcore bands that are better than BMTH:

Parkway Drive
The Red Chord
Botch
BTBAM

and a few links to some songs:

Also, does anyone know how to embed youtube videos? That would help me a lot in future posts.

i really hate bad religion, all of their songs sound exactly the same yet half of the so called "punk" kids i know worship the ground greg graffin walks on.
i respect him because he's fairly intelligent, but i get tired of his music really quickly.

^ I never got much into Bad Religion myself, despite liking many bands that they influenced in one way or another. Perhaps that's due in part to not ever checking out their more acclaimed, earlier albums. I only ever had Stranger Than Fiction. Which is a good/decent album but I never loved it.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
