Rock symphonies --- David Garrett

If you like your classical spiced up with some guitar and to rock out a bit, you should give this a listen. Also if you're a fan of the violin. Garrett does great versions of classics like "SLTS", "Walk this way" and "Live and let die", as well as bringing his own special touch to classical greats like Beethoven's 5th symphony and Vivaldi's "Winter". Pretty much flawless.

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata (2014)

Sublime mind-bending gangsta jams from a pair you'd never expect to get together. Lots of awesome guests too.

Balance Of Power - Ten More Tales Of Grand Illusion (1999)

Been a fan of these guys for years: they're a gloriously fantastic crossbreed between Stratovarius, Angra and Queensrÿche, and revisiting their Lance King albums has been nothing if not a treat over the last two weeks.

Sounds interesting, though I have to admit his face is a bit on the punchable side.

His punchability is somewhere in the range of a Chris Angel for sure.

Deceiver of the Gods

I've been going on and off about Amon Amarth lately so I decided to give this album a listen and i'm impressed. This is definitely better than a lot of what they've been releasing lately. This is a step up, definitely.
