I'm not a huge rap fan, but I was addicted to Eminem's previous album he released. Learning rap god was my goal and I still haven't succeeded!

Still really digging this album. My friend described it as Throbbing Gristle if they did spoken word, which I thought was quite fitting.

I recently revisited fun.'s Aim and Ignite and I fell right back in love with it. Sticky sweet, eclectic pop rock that always puts a smile on my face. "Take Your Time Coming Home" is still one of my favorite tracks of any genre.

This gets many plays a month, first album I heard by them and still my favorite. Also the reason I joined MB! I was seeking similar bands, which I was well advised on. I now have a better understanding of alternative country and a new forum to call home.

Kind of like the album cover, if that makes sense. Like a children's book turned twisted. It's pop-y, industrial, and orchestral (or atleast uses cellos and violins quite a bit) all at once somehow. Their album Lullabyland is more critically acclaimed probably but ive fallen more for this one (thought all of their albums are great). I think youd like them actually.

Alt country you say? I'm intrigued. I will be getting this one.

16 Horsepower is pretty popular here I've found, and with much reason. Think you can dig it.

wow

Moss i'm seriously surprised you've never heard 16 Horsepower

their entire discography is damn near perfect but i highly suggest Folklore as a starting point....it's a little stripped down in comparison to their other albums....much more moody...and has almost zero christian lyrics
