Diamond District - March on Washington (2014)

I think this is one of the better hip hop albums of the year, came out in late December. Goofle needs to get on this **** if he hasn't already. (Link in image)

Really digging this. Was a lot more psychedelic/dreamy than I was expecting, but I'm loving that aspect in general. For some reason I expected a more indie folk sound from this guy. I'm slowly starting to catch up to 2014, and I see this becoming one of my favorites from that year. Gonna have to go ahead and explore his discography in the coming days now. I'm interested. Hopefully I'll remember this time. I'm too swamped with music for my own good.
The guitar arrangements are so lushy, dreamy and beautiful. Love this album

INU - メシ喰うな! (Meshi Kuuna!) (1981)

Really cool Japanese new wave/post punk record.

It has been on my wishlist for a long time, and up until now I couldn't find it. But I was shown this great site which has given me a few download links to albums I had previously not been able to get a hold of: https://archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/

The best thing to do is enter a few words from the album or artist, and add in the word "mega", as that's probably the best file sharing site out there. But the album may have been posted via alternate sites so you can always take it out of the search.

Moonlit Sailor - Colors in Stereo

I often forget this band exists, and man, when I listen to them again, I remember why I fell in love with in the first place. This album is fantastic.

I remember when I first heard Bitches Brew, I couldn't listen to anything else for a week! Incredible album.

Since December, Weezer's Pinkerton has been basically my new favorite album. Probably gonna pick up the deluxe tracks soon.

This is pretty much incredible for a debut. Solid and I think she may end up being very big indeed. Seventies soul/blues sound allied to some gorgeous orchestrations and a voice that kind of falls between Bev Craven and Kate.
