Yeah, and they're one of my favorite bands, and it's just that good. Unless Grimes comes out of nowhere with a new one, I don't see this changing. I love me some Godspeed and Built to Spill but I'm an art pop enthusiast at heart and no one's better than Braids.

Dead Man Soundtrack—Neil Young (1995)
I love this movie and always liked the music as well despite not really being a fan of Neil Young generally. So I finally got around to getting the soundtrack and it turns out to be a pretty damn good listen all on its own as well. It's all instrumental, just Neil Young improvising on guitar and organ with some snippets of movie dialog, and it feels every bit as lonely and desolate as the movie. If you're a fan of the Earth albums Hex and The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull, even if you haven't seen the movie (which you should because it's great), you'll probably enjoy this.

I also love this movie but I've never checked out the soundtrack. Will have to look into it.

Marching Church - This World Is Not Enough

Wow, this is a totally different animal than previous Marching Church material. It's much closer to the last Iceage album, albeit more experimental and harder to digest. They're a full on band now, going from playing lo-fi, black metal inspired post-punk to this. Although maybe it's a sign that any newer stuff featuring Elias (vocalist) is gonna be getting progressively weirder. I don't know what to call this, like I said, it's in the way of Plowing Into the Field of Love, but with a wider array of influences. It's a grower I'd say, but I loved it at first listen so with time I'll just love it more. It's more romantic too. <3
