Colleen Green - I Want to Grow Up (2015)

Some albums just hit the right spot. They come along at the right time, take over your life and make other music seem somewhat insignificant. These albums, in my experience, aren't usually of the universally acclaimed hipstercore variety. They exist in a pocket of space and time, between the lines of obscurity and hype. And those that are fortunate enough to know, just fucking know.

Uh, it's drone-influenced post-rock. Doesn't Ki normally listen to metal and Elliott Smith?

Not since he started "post-rock month".

Ki is a post-rock guy at heart.

See, this is why I really should read his journal.

Pretty much what Josef K said. Drone influenced post-rock. It's a Godspeed You! Black Emperor release and it's quite good.

Actually, my love for post-rock is the reason I started post-rock month. I didn't do post-rock month to start getting into post-rock. The genre is in my top 3 favorite genres of all time.
