Tove Lo—Queen of the Clouds
Really good synth pop type stuff. Catchy and sleek but with enough of an edge to be interesting. There's not a bum track on the album honestly.

Fräkmündt - Landlieder & Fromländler

Some kind of awesome sounding Swiss alpine neofolk, a wide array of acoustic instruments, accordions and flutes and whatnot. Super, super catchy. I was pretty sold on the first track when I heard a blastbeat.

This one's probably hitting me especially hard because I'm in a bit of a lovelorn mood. But I really adore a lot of these tracks (Ex-Factor, Lost Ones, Forgive Them Father, Can't Take My Eyes Off of You), and her singing is just on point. And the interludes do a wonderful job of setting the mood for the album.

I downloaded some Buckethead albums on Deezer to see what the fuss was about and so far Colma seems to be quite listenable.

New to the beautiful works of William Basinski, but I'm quickly falling in love with them.

So this is ****ing great. Guitar playing chops galore. The whole band is talented but this is rad. Marrissa's voice took some getting used to but it's pretty great once you do. Flirts with dancey post-punk, angular indie rock, and more riff oriented sludginess. It's ****ing good as ****.
