Farrah Abraham - My Teenage Dream Ended (2012)

I posted this a bit ago, and in the mean time the album has infected my body. It's beyond anything I have ever comprehended. I don't understand it at all. I'm not even sure if I enjoy it to be honest but whatever.

I want somebody to show me a more insane album, please.

Susumu Hirasawa - Sim City (1995)

First solo album I've gotten my hands on from the mastermind behind the soundtrack of the late 90's Berserk anime and also a lot of Satoshi Kon's works. Odd but very listenable blend of technopop, Thai instrumentation and experimental electronica. Sometimes with bagpipes. Like Gino Vannelli or perhaps Wayne Coyne (Flaming Lips), this is one guy who lives in a very strange and distinct musical world of his own...and you either accept it or you don't.

Rediscovered this yesterday.
The only bad thing about this album is that I seldom have the three hours of time needed to listen to it in full.
Amazing and surprisingly entertaining minimalistic drone music.

Gutbucket - Sludge Test (2011)

Pretty good Jazz-Rock so far. Similar to the kind of stuff Mary Halvorson and Weasel Walter have done recently.

A couple to consider before finalizing your best of 15 lists.

Moss Lime - Zoo Du Quebec

Great 60s inspired female rock group. It could be because of them speaking French in some of their songs, but they remind me of a female alternative to Etron Fou Leloublan with touches of early Pink Floyd. My one complaint is that the vocals are pretty uninspired and lazy sounding.

Mgla - Exercises in Futility

Just some straight up great black metal.

Mgla was up for album of the year on alot of sites i've been hanging on. Lots of great Polish Black Metal on the horizon. I know Massemord and Plaga are very similar and revered as well.

I think I've heard Massemord, but I'm so bad with foreign metal band names. Still, always looking for good BM.

Ahleuchatistas - Location Location

Very captivating math rock that doesn't get too noodly or dull. The sheer amount of talent between these two dudes is incredible.
