Big Ups - Before a Million Universes (2016)
I wasn't super into Big Ups' debut album Eighteen Hours of Static, although it had a few great songs. But after hearing a song or two leading up to the release of this new one I was pretty pumped to hear it. And it's great! It's more nuanced with contrasting loud/quiet parts like post-hardcore, just the way I like my punk. The vocals are also more appealing to me and a bit less gruff while still aggressive. I didn't notice it the first time I played it but after noticing a few places comparing it to Slint and listening again, I do hear some similarities but still feel this is doing its own thing. But I guess check it out if you like Fugazi, Slint, and other amazing bands.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

THIRD EYE BLIND - THIRD EYE BLIND
One of the most complete albums I've ever heard. Rolling stone gave it a 3/5, which is the day I realized that Rolling Stone is garbage. Every song start to finish is amazing.

I'd probably give it a 3/5 too. YorkeDaddy confirmed garbage

Or we just have a difference of opinion.

And Rolling Stone having a different opinion than you makes them a garbage publication right off the bat?
