The whole album is super turbulent but super fluid, and just very captivating and fun. I guess it's kinda like Igorrr but less frenetic and more progressive. It focuses way more on metal and comes through with seriously nice riffs and breakdowns, and also has more expansive suites of experimentation, with heavy use of jazz, various styles of electronica, Balkan style ethnic fusion, chamber music, mathcore, pop and I dunno, everything cool

Who Am I Today? by Red Morning Light is one of my favourites, Leave On Your Makeup by Ben Kenney is absolutely brilliant and Sons Of The Sea's self titled is quickly overtaking Like Clockwork by QOTSA as my favourite album of 2013

An experimental, ambient-jazz project with a Bossa Nova tinge from the mid 90's that was "lost" for quite some time. Great late night listening.

If Rush and Gentle Giant got a hard-on for EDM and opened up a club in Moscow, the end result would be something like this old chestnut (2nd Hands) from The Gourishankar. Glad I revisited it: the arrangements are so good that even the weird accent of singer MJ Whiner becomes yet another instrument.

Three reasons for me not to listen to it!

I've actually heard one of The Gourishanker's albums - don't think it was this one but it could have been. Quite impressed if I remember. But is their vocalist really called Whiner??

I can't believe you haven't already. It's a 5* album. Get down on it.
