This is surprisingly fun; I didn't think I was going to enjoy it. They straight up embraced being a pop band and they're all the better for it.

A Pact Between Strangers by Oneohtrix Point Never

OPN's older stuff > newer stuff, which is a secret that should be unearthed (my love for Russian Mind is well documented, but this is fantastic as well)

Richard Dawson - Peasant

Top tier avant-folk from one of my favourite guitar players. This is his first album with a full band, as before he had a more stripped down approach. This is a whole new animal that still feels like a natural progression in his career.

Modern English Decoration

Just dropped today and I'm really enjoying it. Loads better than the Alt-J release which will probably have to have time to grow on me. Yes, I like Alt-J.

The lead singer sounds like an Adam Sandler character from Little Nicky. TRY AND UNHEAR IT, I DARE YOU.

Not their second album, but their first yes. Have yet to even delve into their third release. I'm scared I won't like it though.
