^ That's a good choice - to my mind the best of his later albums. A couple of tracks have some great lyrics, and a couple of tracks have a playful charm that is rare in his discography.

The album before this was Time Out Of Mind, which won Dylan his first Grammy, but that album is too depressing and stark for repeated listening, imo. Not coincidental is the fact that the year TOOM was released, Dylan had a serious lung infection. My belief is that the award allocators said to themselves, "This guy's never won a Grammy - better give him one in case he dies soon."
