In a Silversun Pickups sorta mood, so I am very much enjoying Swoon at this moment!

Roman Candle-Elliott Smith. Still my favorite of his. I suppose I just prefer his lo-fi work, which would explain why I could care the least for for Figure 8.

Now digging Magician Among the Spirits by the Church... one of their more overlooked / underrated albums... its full of gems though, very unusual sounding gems for the most part but no lesser in quality due to that....

That's the only Church album I don't have. Perhaps I should check it out.

Most definitely you should... especially Further Adventures of The Time Being which is playing right now.... absolutely amazing track...

The whole album is varied and very, very spacey... quite out there and abstract lyrically too.... but God damn, what an album!

Yeah that's a good one, I threw it on the iPod last night because of your post, and I'm playing it now.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Electronic era Krautrock filtered through modern recording techniques and a splash of 80's Techno and Disco. Nothing highly original but niche enough to garner multiple listens.

Imagine if Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Joanne Newsome and Patti Smith all had sex with Tom Waits and they produced a strange hybrid female with music to match. Each listen reveals a little more.

Kingdom of Rust - Doves

Love the way this one sounds more energetic, lively and louder than previous Doves releases, yet retains some of that mystery, and most of the feel of tgheir earlier stuff... plus I just love this band's sense of melody, sense of musical adventure... although I am fan of Coldplay, I still think these giys are much better songwriters...
